Practice data: NPI Registry, pulled 27 October 2026. Status and notes save the moment you make them, on this device only, so the tool is fully usable by one person with nothing to set up. It is not a live shared list: two people working separately each build their own picture. Export writes yours to a file and Import merges one back, keeping any practice the sender never touched, which is how you combine them into a single view. Provider counts and in-house specialties come from NPI taxonomy registrations, which practices self-report and do not always keep current.

Work a whole town in four clicks

Pick the town› Bulk select› Select all› Pick a status

What the statuses mean

Changing a status

One practice
Click the circle at the far left of its row and pick from the menu.
Several
Press Bulk select, tick the rows, then pick a status from the bar that appears at the bottom.
Shift-click
Ticks everything between the last row you ticked and this one.
Select all
Ticks every row that passes your current filters, not all 141.

Finding practices

Search
Matches practice name, town, provider name, phone, and your own notes.
Area, Town, Type
Three dropdowns. They stack, so you can narrow to independents in one town.
Hide endo in house
Drops practices that keep root canals in house. They are the least likely to refer.
The four counts
The tiles at the top are filters too. Click one to see only those.

Sorting

Sort by
One dropdown, twelve fields: distance to either office, status, name, town, ZIP, provider count, type, phone.
The arrow
Reverses the order.
Mileage
The distance on each row follows the sort. Sort by Leland and every row shows its Leland distance.

Row detail and notes

Click a row
Opens every provider, the full address, both distances and the phone number.
Notes
Free text, saved as you type. Who you spoke to, what they said, the next step.
Searchable
Notes are included in the search box, so you can find a practice by what you wrote about it.

Saving and sharing

Automatic
Every status and note saves the moment you make it. There is no save button and nothing is lost by closing the page or losing signal.
Per device
Each phone, laptop and browser keeps its own copy. This is not a live shared list, so a change made on one will not appear on another by itself.
Working as a pair
Simplest is one person owning the list. Otherwise split the towns between you and bring them together when you want the full view.
Export
Writes your statuses and notes to a file.
Import
Loads a file back and merges it. Any practice the sender never touched keeps your version, so swapping files builds one combined picture rather than overwriting.

The map

Map key
Turns each layer on and off. Bubble size is the number of general dentists in that ZIP.
The arrows
Collapse any panel, including the notes at the bottom, for a full-screen map. It remembers.
Fit
Re-centers the map if you zoom away.
Any mark
Click it for the practice behind it.

Where the data comes from

The NPI registry, pulled 27 October 2026. Practices self-report it and do not always keep it current, so treat provider counts and in-house specialties as a starting point rather than gospel. Anything marked approximate could not be geocoded to a street address and sits at the center of its ZIP.
